Hi there, this is my first post. I am new in this as well as writing in English in a public website, English is not my first language so I will say: mistakes are well welcomed and improvement is a daily commitment.
I am bringing something very easy and practical to make. You can use a conventional oven or an air fryer (this thing is part of our life now, gorgeous, it is amazing how almost all the recipes have the directions on the back to use an air fryer).
Ingredients:
Tomatoes
Pesto (I love Giovanni Rana pesto)
Burrata
Fresh Basil
Ciabatta Bread
Olive oil
Salt
Oregano
1) First, preheat the air fryer, select bake and 350degrees, preheat for 5 minutes. This can be apply to a conventional oven as well.
2) Then get Ciabatta bread, cut it in half and spread pesto on it (the part inside), after having the air fryer/conventional oven preheated, just ad the bread with the pesto and bake for another 3-4 minutes, check to make sure is toast and crunchy as you wish.
3) While baking the bread with pesto, slice the tomatoes 1/4 inch thick, chop the fresh basil and slice the burrata.
4) Once you have the bread toasted and ready, get them out of the air fryer/oven and place the slice of tomatoes on the top, then the burrata and place in the air fryer/oven for 2-3 minutes more.
5) Last, season with fresh basil, some salt, oregano and olive oil.
That's it! Hope you enjoy it.
Of course, creativity is always welcome so you can add whatever toppings you like such as olives, anchovies, mushrooms, crushed red peppers, etc. Seriously, make the recipe your own style (:
